    Youth Tour

    Every June, Sheridan Electric sends a delegate to the Washington, D.C. Youth Tour. This program is sponsored by the electric cooperatives of Montana, but paid for by your cooperative. Applicants must be a member of the Sheridan Electric Co-op. Inc., and write an essay that coordinates with the topic chosen by the Statewide office for that particular year. A non-member of the cooperative may also submit an essay and could be awarded $100.

    Sheridan Electric Scholarship

    6- $2,000 Award-awarded to students whose parents are current Sheridan Electric members.

    MECA Memorial Scholarship

    Two applicants will be chosen for the Montana Electric Cooperatives' Association Scholarship. The participating statewide electric co-ops submit their entries to MECA for competition with a chance for a $500.00 scholarship.

    A $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded to a student in Sheridan Electric Cooperative’s service area, from Basin Electric Power Cooperative.

    Lineman/Electrician Scholarship

    Available to any graduating senior or previous graduate of a school in Sheridan Electric's service territory pursuing a career as a lineman or electrician. Applicants do NOT need to be members of Sheridan Electric Co-op., Inc.

    Black Mountain Software Scholarship

    Black Mountain Software is offering scholarships to Montana students. We are requesting your assistance to distribute our scholarship application. All interested 2018 graduating Montana high school seniors who will be attending an accredited institution of higher education, regardless of their field of study, are eligible. These accredited institutions include trades schools, technical schools, colleges or universities.

    Two Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $500.00 each. Scholarship payment will be made directly to the school that the applicant will be attending.
